Rigor Mortis

A lot of families have showcases, where they keep objects of sentimental value or photos from relatives that they appreciate.

Due to the fear of the emptiness of death I materialize my self in parts. Art heals the sensation of the emptiness of death and also materializing my self I create a conceptual irony with the fact that this particular emptiness appears as a result of a “materialistic society”.

That work consists on many small realistic plaster copies (positive forms) from parts of my body and other university colleagues too.
